Onventis and Metroplan have successfully acquired Deutsche GigaNetz GmbH as a new customer.
As one of the leading consulting companies for process optimisation and digitalisation, Metroplan develops individual digitalisation strategies for its customers and, as a certified Onventis partner, supports its customers in the implementation of Onventis Cloud Procurement solutions.
Onventis and Metroplan are using the cloud pioneer’s web-based procurement solution to digitalise Deutsche GigaNetz GmbH’s strategic and operational procurement processes and support its procurement organisation in increasing the company’s success through material cost savings and process optimisation.
Deutsche GigaNetz GmbH is working closely with local authorities and companies to expand the fibre optic network throughout Germany. In total, more than one million dedicated lines are to be laid in all regions of the country for private households, companies, public organisations and institutions. As a long-term quality provider and fully integrated FTTH telecommunications provider, the Hamburg-based company plans to invest up to three billion euros in so-called „FttH“ solutions.
