NORDFROST offers comprehensive, needs-based logistics solutions in all temperature ranges with services from warehousing, transport and port logistics for food, non-food, pharmaceuticals and project shipments/breakbulk as well as container-related services. To this end, the family-owned company with 3,000 employees operates 40 efficient logistics locations throughout Germany with a current capacity of around 1 million pallet spaces and a Europe-wide transport network. The company’s headquarters are located in Schortens, Lower Saxony.
NORDFROST is using Onventis Buyer to digitalise its strategic and operational procurement processes and support its purchasing department in increasing the company’s success through material cost savings and process optimisation. The aim of the project was to set up a digital purchasing infrastructure and handle all procurement processes via Onventis Buyer.
